No player in the history of this league takes chips off the table faster than Shawn Miller. His 1.57 knockouts a tournament is the highest rate anybody has ever posted — 102 knockouts out of 65 starts, eighth all-time on the regular-season list despite a career less than half as long as most of the men above him.
What it has not produced is wins. Two, in eight years. But look at how they landed.
The first was #13 in March 2022, after twelve Canterberry tournaments and eleven Eight Deuce ones without one — seventeen players and $480 for first, the richest tournament anyone had played to that point.
The second took fifty-one months. June 2026, #56, nineteen runners: Shawn knocked out seven of them, including everybody else who finished in the top five, and collected $580 in prize money. Four years of waiting, and he did not leave a single contender standing.
In between: 5 runner-up finishes and 20 cashes. He was one knockout off the lead in Eight Deuce's very first season, 21 to the leader's 22, and did not win a tournament for another year — which is the whole shape of his career in miniature. He does the damage. Somebody else often collects.
$4,430 in career prize money, seven trips to heads-up with two wins, and a knockout rate nobody has matched. When Shawn is at your table, the chips move.
