Five Players, Three Rebuys, and Two Winners
Andrew Shier and Charlie Drotar split the Stud event down the middle — a first WSOP win for each of them.
Five players turned out for 7 Card Stud, the smallest field the series has had, and three of them rebought — so a five-man table still made $200. It ended with Andrew Shier and Charlie Drotar agreeing to split it rather than play it out, $100 apiece.
Both are credited with the win, and it is the first for each of them. Andrew had played eight WSOP events without one, going back to the very first in June 2017; Charlie had played seven.
Andrew did the damage: five of the seven eliminations were his, including all three of the players who finished below the deal.

The undercard
Rick Mazza bubbled in third. Eric Denny rebought and came fourth, and Lance Cain rebought and was the first player out after two hours and fourteen minutes.
The bigger picture
Four events, four different winners — five, if you count the deal as two. Eric Denny leads the table on 126.80, fifteen ahead of Lance Cain and twenty-one ahead of Andrew Shier, with one event to play.
The October finale is H.O.R.S.E., which is how the last series ended too, and any of the top three can still take the WSOP Champion trophy.
